A safe working environment is more than merely complying with the law and wearing safety footwear. PowerFirst
make a great effort to ensure that our psychological working environment is healthy.
We also fully support the UN World Declaration on Human Rights and the UN Convention on Children's Rights.
PowerFirst production units are approved by the local environmental authorities. We make an active effort to
ensure that all regulations and environmental approvals are complied with.
We constantly work to identify methods and chemicals that have less impact on the environment, introduce
energy optimisation that has an overall positive impact on our environment.
The PowerFirst manufacture and sell products will not intentionally release any harmful substances.
Our production units do not manufacture or import substances which do not comply with REACH regulation. All
our suppliers should declare and guarantee that all their parts deliver to PowerFirst should be comply with
REACH regulation.
PowerFirst was always committed to supply his customers with environment friendly products and comply to the
REACH regulation.
For the “SVHC candidate list” and as requested by article 33 of the regulation, PowerFirst will provide his
customers with information about the chemicals of “very high concern” used in our products. First analysis
results shows that we do not use such substances.
PowerFirst confirms that any components manufactured by us comply with the European Parliament and the Council
Directive 2011/65/EU of 8 June 2011 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in
electrical and electronic equipment.
For the purposes of this Directive, the following substances (homogeneous materials) are subject to
restrictions which imply that no more than the maximum concentration value by weight, as specified in
following table, which shall be tolerated.
CSR is also important to PowerFirst. Therefore, we comply with the following clauses:Human rights
Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; Make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.
Anti-Corruption
Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
Environment
Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges; Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
Labour
Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining; The elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour; The effective abolition of child labour; The elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.
Report Violation
PowerFirst is a responsible company with an open culture in which all can feel secure and speak up if they
experience potential violations of the legislation. As a start, employees are requested to speak to their
immediate manager or a member of general management in these situations, but it is also possible to use
the whistleblowing system.
Employees and other stakeholders can report (anonymously or non-anonymously) in the whistleblowing system
about suspicion of potential violations of the legislation, including matters that may incur on PowerFirst
financial losses or damage PowerFirst reputation.
PowerFirst's whistleblowing system ensures a high protection level to persons who report serious
violations of the law and other serious matters. The scheme can be used if you experience or has a
suspicion of these serious matters at PowerFirst or in case of matters and activities in connection with
PowerFirst.
Which issues can be reported?
The whistleblowing system may only be used for reporting suspicion about potential violations of the
legislation in activities related to PowerFirst. Matters such as bullying, dissatisfaction with pay,
inflexibility at work etc. cannot be reported through the whistleblowing system, but instead you can
report this through our usual channels, e.g. management and union representatives. Matters that can be reported through the whistleblowing system are for instance information about: Embezzlement, theft, corruption, bribery, deceit, fraud, forgery, conflicts of interest, extortion and
abuse of inside knowledge,money laundering, financing of terrorism and illegal activities,
irregularities concerning keeping of accounts and audit,
material breaches of occupational safety,
providing incorrect or misleading information to public authorities,
physical violence and sexual abuse. The above list only includes examples. If you are in doubt of whether to report your observation or not,
you are urged to do so. All communication is replied to and processed.

Reports can be made by anyone, including employees, suppliers, shareholders and others with relations to PowerFirst.
Who can be reported?
Matters in which PowerFirst employees and other stakeholders affiliated with PowerFirst are involved in activities with direct relation to the company can be reported. This applies to both employees, general management and the management appointed by PowerFirst.
